The operator installing a wireless node on a mast in a field

The practice · One operator · Five worlds

The person who scopes it shows up to do it.

Alstergee LLC is a single-operator shop spanning networks, power, AV, security, software, and the wild ideas that need all of them at once. One discipline run well beats five run by subcontractors — so we run all of them, as one practice.

The practice

Every job — install, deployment, event — is hands-on. The client talks to the person doing the work, not a relay through a project manager who can’t answer the real question. No subcontracted warm bodies, no missed details landing on a desk after invoice.

Gear picked to be maintained, not just installed. Cables labeled the way a future tech wants to read them. Jobs documented in a format that survives staff turnover. That’s the standard, whether the work is a single AP install or a 20,000-person festival network.

One operator, five worlds

  • IT — networks, cameras, AV, software, and support for businesses, phased on your budget.
  • Building Automation — cameras, access control, sensing, and alarms — wired or solar-powered and off-grid.
  • Event Technologies — off-grid WiFi and power for tens of thousands, in cell-dead fields.
  • Corporate Events — freelance camera director, V1, LSO, and show-caller for live productions.
  • Culture — underground stage design, lasers, sound, and immersive art.

The worlds overlap constantly. Camera systems ride the network. Shows run on the venue’s AV. Festival access control talks to the firewall. Solar powers all of it. Treating them as one practice instead of five siloed trades keeps quality high and handoffs out of the picture.

Coverage area

Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden, Park City — the full Wasatch Front. Travel work for the right show, deployment, or install. The festival systems go wherever the field is.

Process

  1. Site walk or an honest phone call about scope and budget.
  2. Design and quote — clear scope, no padded line items, no surprises later.
  3. Build — on schedule, on budget, documented as it goes.
  4. Hand-off and support — invoice is not the end. Remote management and ongoing support available on request.
